Whilst children may develop quite normally at different rates, sometimes parents can become concerned that their child's development is falling behind their expectations and seek advice of whether there could be an underlying cause. The examples Dr Rundle has seen are children late to walk (over two years), children late to talk (over two years), impaired vision, impaired hearing and poor socially interactive skills.
